Senator Arlen Specter

Senator Arlen Specter lost in the primary election today for the Pennsylvania Senate. He said he will now support the Democratic candidate Sestak to run against the Republican Toomey in the fall.

80, Specter served in the U.S. Senate since 1981 where Joe Biden said Specter was his best friend. Specter served together with Senator Leahy on the Judiciary Committee.

Like some British leaders leaking or watching information, Specter was helpful in Aesopian communication. We at MIM wish that he and other senior politicians had stopped Obama from trading in Palestinian diplomatic cards during the Annapolis negotiations.
